Philipp Herpel

Philipp is a senior expert in the football industry, beginning his notable career as LOC Deputy Head of Cities & Stadiums for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. His profound involvement with FIFA, confederations, associations and public services for hosting multiple mega-football-events demonstrate his ability to fulfill diverse stakeholder needs across all phases from bidding to legacy.

His key competencies in strategies, infrastructure, and operations are underpinned by an Executive MBA from Kellogg-WHU and his deep-rooted experience at HFP, a leading sports consultancy. Further enhancing his profile, Philipp has been a lecturer for over a decade at the German Sport University Cologne, dedicated to sport project and event management.

Katharina Ley

Katharina is an experienced consultant in tourism and destination management. Her expertise stems from a robust background in business administration and tourism management. Notably, Katharina served as a consultant for the Ethiopian Tourism Organization, enriching her understanding of diverse cultural landscapes. In 2016, she founded a successful specialized tour operator, focusing on Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, and the Himalayas. Her extensive experience includes work at a leading private jet charter company and involvement in diverse projects worldwide, showcasing her global perspective and versatile skill set.

Katharina’s unwavering commitment to excellence and penchant for innovation render her an indispensable resource in the realm of tourism and destination management.

Benedikt Müller

Benedikt is a seasoned expert in destination marketing and management with working experience in UAE, China, Iceland and Germany. With a professional journey spanning vibrant areas of responsibility in business development or commercial matters, Benedikt brings a wealth of multicultural experience, blending diverse perspectives into innovative approaches.

Opening the first German office for a leading travel platform, becoming a co-founder of a Saudi focused tour operator and being part of the host city management of the UEFA EURO 2024, makes him a sought-after consultant committed to elevating destinations to new heights.
